Areca plates are eco-friendly as well as disposable. These plates are the best alternative to plastic / polymer products and paper-based products. These are made from the shredded leaves of the Areca palm trees.

The fallen areca leaf is collected from farms. The Sheath of the areca leaf cleaned and soaked in water for approximately 15 minutes and shade dried for 30 minutes. They are then compressed to different shapes using the correspondingly shaped Machines. They are then packed as per the customer requirement.

• Areca waste is broken into pieces of 10cm.
• The waste is heaped and sprinkled daily for two weeks.
• Then the material is laid in beds of 1 m width.
• Layer s 10-15cm waste is alternated with 2cm layer of cow dung.
• Within 60 days, fine granular, odourless compost will be produced.

If you prefer to re-use the Leaf Plates you just have to wash them gently with soapy brush and water. Remember to not scrub them too much nor immerse it in water. After being done with you can wash and dry them flat upside down.Because we do not use any bonding agents, lacquers or chemicals and our product is natural and porous, we cannot legally recommend washing and reusing of our Plates. We can, however, tell you that our customers often write in that they hand wash the plates and enjoy them time and again.
